A Night Ten Years in the Making

For eight years, Vermont Womenpreneurs has been gathering women and gender-expansive entrepreneurs across this state, creating space to convene, connect, collaborate, celebrate, and care for one another. The VTW Summit has been the crown jewel of that work.

This year, we are marking our 10th production with something that honors everything we have learned about what this community actually needs: not a room full of strangers exchanging business cards, but a genuine gathering of people who want to know and be known.

Before we pause this beloved tradition to return to our roots in smaller, monthly community gatherings, we are going out with an evening we will all remember.

This Year Is Different

In past Summits, we curated a stage of women business owners sharing their journeys with the room. Those evenings were powerful. This year, we are turning the model inside out.

Every person in the room becomes part of the program.

Inspired by the intimacy of a Regency-era ball, the 2026 VTW Summit is designed as an evening of guided conversation and sincere connection. There is no stage. There is no audience. There is only a room full of people who are somewhere on the entrepreneurial journey, ready to meet others who get it.

How the Evening Works

5:00 to 5:30pm | Arrival, food, and drinks Welcome to Isham Family Farm. Settle in, grab a plate from Lucky Star Catering's Bridgerton-inspired finger food spread, and pour yourself something from 802 Cocktails.

5:30 to 6:00pm | Opening Vermont Womenpreneurs cofounder greetings, a word from our sponsors, and your guide to the evening ahead.

6:00 to 8:00pm | The Conversation Rounds This is where the magic happens.

When you check in, you will receive a beautifully designed dance card and limited edition bandana, created by Bethany Andrews-Nichols of Beenanza Design and Vermont Womenpreneurs cofounder. Illustrated with an apple tree moving through all four seasons, your dance card is your guide to the evening. It will tell you which seasonal station to visit and in what order, so that over the course of the night you will move through the room, meet new people, and have real conversations anchored in something that matters: the lived experience of being in business.

The Four Seasons of Business

The Summit space is organized around four seasonal stations, each representing a stage of the entrepreneurial journey. You will spend 20 minutes at each station, with a short transition between rounds.

🌱 Spring — The Gestation Season Ideas are percolating. Things are forming beneath the surface. This is the season of possibility and uncertainty, of dreaming and not yet knowing what the seeds will become.

☀️ Summer — The Building Season The idea has taken root and now comes the labor. Showing up consistently, doing the unglamorous work, and channeling energy wisely to turn vision into reality.

🍎 Fall — The Harvest Season The work is paying off. A launch, a new client, a program going live, or seeds finally resulting in real revenue. One final surge of energy to bring things to fruition.

❄️ Winter — The Rest and Reflect Season The harvest is done. Now comes the integration: reflecting, releasing, and allowing stillness before what comes next takes shape.

Wherever you are in your business right now, there is a table for you and a group of people who understand that season from the inside.

Meet Your Connection Hosts

At the heart of each seasonal station is a Connection Host: a woman or gender-expansive entrepreneur who has lived through multiple seasons of business and is ready to hold space for honest, generous conversation.

Connection Hosts are not moderators or speakers. They are community members, just like you, who have said yes to creating a welcoming table where everyone in the group feels comfortable enough to show up as they actually are, not as they think they should be.

Each Connection Host has been selected for their warmth, their experience cycling through the seasons of business, and their commitment to the kind of sincere connection that Vermont Womenpreneurs has always stood for.
